Raw Nutrition & Health
As an Herbalist I encourage and support my patients to supplement their diets with at least some raw food. The results have been very encouraging and I will share with you some specific health benefits of raw food. We will also focus on why eating raw and living food and the valuable enzymes they contain is central to the prevention of chronic and degenerative diseases, including obesity.
For me, raw and living food is a simple, superior and sustainable way to eat. Anyone can incorporate at least some raw food into their diet and every little helps. Living food is nutrient-dense, full of enzymes, life-force, and vitality, which resonates with our living bodies. Living food imparts a natural, physical beauty, unique to raw food nutrition. Raw food rejuvenates, heals and gives us all a chance to look the way we did 10 or even 20 years ago!
This talk covers the significantly beneficial impact raw and living food has, not just on health, beauty and vitality, but how it cleanses, bringing mental clarity and impacting positively on all aspects of your life.
This event is an introduction to raw and living food. I also run separate raw food preparation classes (one to one or a maximum of two people) for those of you who want to take this to another level.
Raw and Living Food Buffet
The cost of the talk also includes a Raw and Living Food Buffet. The menu will include some or all of the following: Yum!

Thai Spring Rolls and Thai Pillows with Mango Chutney,
Wild Mushroom and Spinach Quiche, Cottage Pie, Fresh Green Salad, Sweet Chilli Sauce, Greek Flaxseed Crackers, Tzatziki, Chocolate Cake with Mango Filling, Exotic Fruit Salad with Vanilla Syrup and Strawberry Cheesecake.
I regret that no individual health problems can be discussed at length, during the talk, but if you would like a private consultation, this can be booked separately.

Raw and Living Food Preparation Class
Learn to prepare raw and living cuisine in a fully-equipped Living Food Kitchen. Take home the raw dishes that you prepare. On the day, we will explore the following:
The Living Food Kitchen
Central to the Living Food Lifestyle is the ability to create raw food dishes quickly and easily. I will demonstrate the use of the equipment I use in my Living Food Kitchen that makes my day to day raw food lifestyle a pleasure. Don't worry if you are not ready or able to buy all of the equipment straight away. It is not essential to have all this equipment and you can certainly get by very well with just one or two pieces.
Personally speaking I have found that with a well-equipped kitchen, I can create every raw dish that takes my fancy and it is this that has enabled my raw food journey and my transition from hapless cook to Raw Food Chef. However, it has taken about two years to get to this stage, so take your time.

Testimonials
Hi Patricia
Thank you very much for a very informative day and for sharing your knowledge of raw food. I had a great time and especially enjoyed the hands on experience in preparing the recipes. Your suggestions on various pieces of equipment was invaluable in helping me to decide which items to purchase first and which ones I could manage without until later. I left feeling very inspired with a clear understanding of how to take the next step to going raw.
It was great to be able to take the apricot cheese cake home it tasted wonderful.

Hi Patricia
I had a lot of fun learning how to make raw foods with you on Friday, and I picked up so many useful tips on where to find supplies, and on how to get started with going raw. Thank you for showing me how to make those delicious dishes, and teaching me how to use the equipment for making raw foods. My sister got to taste all the samples I brought home (including the yummy cheesecake you so generously gave us) and that was enough to convince her that raw food is the way to go!
Since attending your class, we've both gone 100% raw, and we're enjoying every minute of it. My parents have visited twice to try the food, and they love it as much as we do.
Thank you!
Regards,
Layo
Dear Patricia,
I hope all's well with you.
I've just got back from sunny, warm South Africa and the time before I left was very hectic.
I just wanted to write and say, how much I enjoyed the afternoon we spent together, it was special receiving one-to-one support around developing a raw food life-style. Your suggestions for planning have been invaluable and have helped me to be more organised around shopping and meal planning. Also the recipes were delicious and it was great to be able to take dishes home with me.
You introduced me to new food-stuffs and ways of preparing food. Thank you so much for your vision and expertise.
With best wishes
Anita Mckenzie
